Joe Kotwis, a Professional Engineer and Black Belt certified expert, co-founded Webineering after a distinguished 31-year career at DuPont. With a deep specialization in web handling and process engineering, Joe has led global teams to deliver high-impact projects. These projects have driven significant improvements across industries like electronics, packaging, automotive, aerospace, and military.
Before founding Webineering, Joe served as a Global Leveraged Continuous Improvement Engineer at DuPont, where he resolved critical, multi-site business challenges. Throughout his career, Joe has consistently demonstrated an ability to manage complex engineering projects. He has proficiently handled projects to improve film production efficiency as well as led multi-million dollar capital projects. His expertise extends to machine design, project management, and mentorship of engineers worldwide.
Joe's Mechanical Engineering degree (from Clemson University) forms the basis of his technical problem-solving skills. He also applies his Masters of Science in Management - Technology degree (from North Carolina State University) to ensure that all engineering solutions align with sound business practices. At Webineering, Joe continues to lead innovative product and process improvements, applying his pragmatic, application-focused approach to problem resolution to benefit clients globally.
